Key Responsibilities

  • •Feed, water, and weigh birds according to schedules.
  • •Clean and disinfect waterers and nest pads, dust nests, clean egg rooms, and perform routine housekeeping.
  • •Record production information (egg numbers, hen number, bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality) and complete paperwork/data entry.
  • •Observe, grade, and record egg quality; collect eggs and record eggs laid by each hen.
  • •Support biosecurity and animal welfare tasks, including removing weak/ill/dead birds and performing other duties as assigned.
