Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare daily production plan for assembly based on planning releases and priorities.
  • •Monitor plan vs actual, address gaps, and ensure timely execution for FAT and shipment readiness.
  • •Monitor WIP aging and enforce FIFO, while improving capacity utilization and operator efficiency to reduce nonproductive time.
  • •Implement and sustain lean practices (Kanban, Kaizen, 6S) and maintain best practices and procedures.
  • •Maintain shop-floor safety and 5S standards, ensure process adherence to reduce defects, and coordinate outside processing (blasting and primer painting).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of engineering/valve industry experience in production, working in a factory in a supervisory capacity for at least 5 years.
  • •Basic knowledge of control valves assembly, testing, and instrumentation functions.
  • •Experience with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 9001:2015, including the ability to face audits.
  • •Knowledge of valve assembly and testing fixtures, including basic machining and geometrical tolerances.
  • •Ability to handle unionized workmen and contract workmen to ensure smooth factory operations.
