Job Summary

Handle end-to-end cash and POS transactions at the store, including cash opening/closing, cash and card payments, and troubleshooting POS-related technical or accounting issues. Verify customer identity for card payments, process returns and store credit, and issue sales and tax-free invoices. Maintain accurate daily takings and documentation, report anomalies to relevant support teams, and support CRM data collection and CITES procedures when applicable.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform cash opening procedures and verify cash availability.
•Manage cash, foreign currency, cheques, traveller’s cheques, and credit card payments, including identity checks.
•Handle POS technical/accounting problems with support from relevant functions (e.g., call centre, technical assistance).
•Collect customers’ personal data to feed the CRM database and issue sales and tax-free invoices.
•Close the till daily, compile and send the summary file to administration, and manage returns and store credit.

Key Requirements

•Experience in store operations (cash handling, stock management) or similar roles.
•Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
•Excellent customer service, including the ability to tailor recommendations.
•Sales-driven mindset with a history of meeting targets.
•Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
