Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work throughout the plant while following Tyson policies and safety expectations.
  • •Use basic hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic power tools, and equipment to complete assigned maintenance tasks.
  • •Apply basic mechanical and maintenance skills, including welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing.
  • •Perform maintenance duties such as welding, cutting, minor electrical repair, and replacement/removal of motors, shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water lines, and steam pipes.
  • •Monitor boilers and perform boiler chemical testing when assigned, and complete assigned tasks in response to operational needs as directed by supervision.
