Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor contractor compliance with approved Health, Safety and Environmental plans, procedures, and site requirements.
  • •Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and safety observations; identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
  • •Review and verify work permits, risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks before work begins.
  • •Support incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions while maintaining accurate HSE records and statistics.
  • •Monitor high-risk activities (excavation, utility installation, lifting operations, confined space entry, traffic management) and environmental controls (waste management, dust suppression, spill prevention, housekeeping).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 5-8 years of HSE supervision experience within construction and infrastructure projects.
  • •Proven experience across utility infrastructure and civil infrastructure projects (roads, wet utilities, dry utilities).
  • •NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory; IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of international HSE standards, risk management, and construction safety practices.
