Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess Finance data governance maturity and design a practical operating model with roles, decision rights, forums, workflows, escalation paths, and cadences.
  • •Create governance standards and templates, build Finance data inventory and business glossary, and prepare metadata for publication in an enterprise data catalog.
  • •Document Finance data lineage and transformation logic across source systems to reporting/analytics, identifying lineage gaps and impact to upstream changes.
  • •Define and implement Finance data quality standards and controls, including rule inventories, monitoring, issue triage, root-cause analysis, and auditable evidence.
  • •Govern Finance master data and hierarchies and support priority Finance data products and governed enterprise context for reporting/analytics/AI use cases.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in data governance, Finance data management, Finance transformation, financial systems, data quality, metadata management, or related consulting roles.
  • •Demonstrated experience establishing or materially improving data governance/data strategy in a complex enterprise.
  • •Strong understanding of Finance processes including general ledger, management reporting, financial consolidation, planning/forecasting, close, and reconciliation.
  • •Experience documenting financial data definitions, business rules, mappings, hierarchies, lineage, controls, and data quality requirements.
  • •Partner effectively with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, data engineering, BI, security, and enterprise technology teams to drive decisions and deliver usable documentation.
