Group Head of Sanctions and Exports Controls

Design and oversee Ebury’s global sanctions and export control compliance framework, setting risk appetite and ensuring all cross-border products, services, and transactions meet international requirements. Lead a global team of sanctions managers, act as board and executive escalation point for high-risk cases, and manage regulatory relationships and inquiries. Partner with financial crime tech and product teams to optimize screening platforms and reduce false positives while supporting commercial growth.
