Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide first-line trouble shooting and diagnose technical faults on Canon Professional Print equipment, minimizing downtime under SLAs.
  • •Perform on-site service and repair, achieving high first-time fix rates and maintaining ownership of RTFs and maintenance communications.
  • •Install, configure, and set up new devices at customer premises; provide product instruction and user training.
  • •Identify, order, and manage spare parts and inventory, including stock checks and returns of unused/obsolete parts.
  • •Complete service reports and documentation using the company field service management system and online tools; ensure health & safety compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous demonstrable experience as a field service engineer or similar role.
  • •Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • •Good understanding of IT/networking for device connectivity.

  • •NVQ or equivalent in an electrical and/or mechanical discipline (highly advantageous).
