Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the overall technical architecture and long-term technology roadmap, including system design and technology stack choices.
  • •Design complex distributed systems for payments processing, fraud detection, and/or banking operations at large scale.
  • •Establish architectural patterns, coding standards, and best practices across engineering teams.
  • •Ensure security and regulatory compliance (including PCI-DSS and SOC 2), using encryption, access controls, and audit trails.
  • •Mentor senior engineers and architects, conduct architecture reviews, and guide technical decisions across multiple teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field plus 6 years’ experience in the job offered or related occupation, or Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years’ experience.
  • •Experience defining overall technical architecture and long-term technology roadmaps for products or platforms.
  • •Experience designing complex distributed systems for financial transactions, payments processing, fraud detection, or banking operations.
  • •Experience ensuring systems meet security and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and SOC 2, including security-first design (encryption, access controls, audit trails).
  • •Experience with large-scale distributed systems and software development life cycle using Java and Python, plus GitHub, Jenkins, and AWS; microservices architecture experience is required.
