Key Responsibilities

•Manage the sanitation department to ensure live haul and feed units are washed and disinfected based on biosecurity procedures within scheduled turnaround times.
•Perform trailer audits, tabulate results, and perform trailer sampling (preferably from audited trailers).
•Inspect sanitation equipment, monitor disinfectant use and verify tank concentration, and perform periodic disinfectant calibration and process time audits.
•Manage daily operations and budgeted cost for the department, including determining techniques, materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, and tools.
•Directly supervise sanitation department employees (interviewing, hiring, training, reviewing productivity, setting work hours, managing payroll, handling complaints, and discipline).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 45,000 - 65,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Associate degree from an accredited college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience acting as a lead by training, coaching, or mentoring less experienced staff, or by managing a process or project.
•Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft software.
•Must have a valid state driver’s license.
•CDL class A license (preferred).
