Job Summary

The Shop Floor Controller oversees SAP-driven shop-floor production orders, coordinating release, execution and material issuance while resolving costing/variance issues with Production, Planning, Warehouse and Finance teams. It ensures accurate SAP transactions, DPS/MPS alignment, and continuous improvement of shop-floor processes in an onsite manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in generating a feasible Detailed Production Schedule (DPS) from the Master Production Schedule (MPS), focusing on minimizing changeover times in coordination with Production and Operations Management
•Collaborate with the Production Manager to release production schedules and production orders to the shop floor
•Participate in daily and/or weekly planning meetings with Production and Operations teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues
•Execute and monitor all SAP transactions related to production orders (order release, confirmations, material consumption, order closure)
•Communicate with the Warehouse team for timely issuance and availability of materials per shift plans

Key Requirements

•Any graduate or Diploma with 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or shop floor-control role
•Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning (PP) module and related transactions (Order Release, Confirmation, Goods Issue, Goods Receipt)
•Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
•Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Finance)
•High attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to operational excellence
