Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and mentor a sourcing team to acquire high-quality data aligned to research needs and model performance.
  • •Source and co-develop datasets with vendor partners to support increasingly complex models.
  • •Oversee a global supplier network end-to-end, including supplier qualification and delivery against acquisition targets.
  • •Negotiate major agreements covering pricing, volume, quality, exclusivity, and delivery reliability within budget.
  • •Continuously improve and scale sourcing processes, workflows, tools, and planning systems; track KPIs and update senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in business, supply chain, engineering, procurement, strategy and operations, or technology; or 10+ years in those areas in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience building or leading sourcing/data acquisition in high-pressure environments.
  • •Strong technical understanding of AI training data, including annotations, evaluations, and research datasets and how dataset quality impacts model performance.
  • •Ability to secure supply and manage cost, quality, and delivery against aggressive targets.
  • •Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional skills.
