  • •Review and negotiate vendor contracts and data processing agreements (DPAs), focusing on privacy, data use, and security provisions.
  • •Advise on outbound data sharing arrangements with third parties, including conducting data transfer risk assessments and ensuring contractual safeguards.
  • •Support scalable process and playbook build-out for vendor privacy review and third-party data sharing.
  • •Consult with business partners on privacy considerations for new products, partnerships, and data initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. degree with strong academic performance.
  • •8+ years of privacy law experience, including hands-on work with vendor contracts, DPAs, and/or data sharing agreements in a law firm and/or in-house role.
  • •Working knowledge of major privacy frameworks including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
  • •California law license required to practice law.
  • •Exceptional communication and organizational skills, including writing and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
