Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate claim damages by communicating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors, and perform face-to-face interactions as needed.
  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims in line with contract terms, corporate guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
  • •Review facts of loss, supporting physical damage documentation, and repair estimates/supplements to determine accuracy, complete supplements, or triage to field inspection.
  • •Maintain accurate and current claim file documentation and manage desk workflows to support timely, accurate claims adjudication.
  • •Provide policyholders with coverage and claims/repair process information; review claims/suppliers for fraud indicators and support Special Investigations Unit as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •2 years of experience with P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process, and claim appraisal process and procedures.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquisition and maintenance of an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
