Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop various REST services and integration components within a backend microservices architecture, connecting with the React frontend.
  • •Design and implement new capabilities aligned with the product roadmap; conduct architectural reviews for current and upcoming solutions; address tech debt and improve operational effectiveness.
  • •Contribute to building the next-generation Payment Acceptance infrastructure with a merchant-focused approach.
  • •Collaborate with the payments product team and occasionally interact with partners' engineering teams.
  • •Work on core acquiring payment features across gateway, acquiring, issuing, or equivalent, impacting global payments platforms.

Key Requirements

  • •Over 5 years of experience in contemporary engineering methodologies, emphasizing continuous integration and quality engineering.
  • •Proven ability to guide a concept from inception to implementation with meticulously tested and high-quality solutions.
  • •Strong computer science fundamentals with recent focus on Java or Kotlin, Spring / Spring Boot.
  • •Specialized in designing and constructing REST APIs, with experience in high-volume distributed systems, Kafka event streams, and distributed storage (Cassandra, Hazelcast, Oracle Coherence or similar).
  • •Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
