Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead tunneling crews in daily excavation activities, including mucking, ground support, utilities, and backup operations
  • •Coordinate with TBM operators, mechanics, electricians, miners, and EHS to ensure safe and efficient progress
  • •Own the daily production schedule and ensure KPIs such as penetration rate, downtime, and shift changeovers are met
  • •Monitor machine conditions and proactively manage downtime events with the maintenance team
  • •Enforce safety policies, conduct field audits, support incident response, and track progress via shift logs and field reports

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of tunneling or heavy civil construction experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/superintendent role
  • •Hands-on knowledge of Main Beam TBM operations
  • •Proven ability to lead field crews, manage production targets, and maintain safety in underground environments
  • •Solid understanding of excavation support systems, muck handling, ventilation, and tunneling logistics
