Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead strategic customer engagements by conducting modernization discovery sessions with infrastructure and security leaders to identify challenges with aging WAM stacks.
•Deliver tailored hybrid architecture demonstrations and architectural sessions focused on Okta Access Gateway to bridge legacy apps to modern identity.
•Design and execute outcome-focused proofs of concept for securing header-based applications and complex on-prem ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS).
•Maintain broad technical understanding of Okta identity product lines and underlying protocols to craft engaging solution content for multiple business units.
•Create and maintain reusable demonstration systems, diagrams, and documentation; build templates for proofs of concept and enablement tooling to accelerate presales activity.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Legacy WAM and Hybrid Identity Mastery: Deep expertise with legacy access tools such as CA Siteminder, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and PingAccess; experience securing and integrating enterprise apps (SAP, Oracle EBS).
•Proven ability to design and run POCs that demonstrate Okta’s value for on-premises environments and header-based applications.
•Strong technical session facilitation and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for software engineering, operations, product management, and business stakeholders.
