Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead modernization discovery sessions with infrastructure and security leaders to uncover challenges with aging WAM stacks.
  • •Deliver tailored hybrid architecture demos focused on Okta Access Gateway (OAG) bridging legacy applications to modern identity.
  • •Design and execute outcome-focused POCs that prove Okta value for header-based applications and complex on-premises ERP systems.
  • •Create and maintain reusable presales demonstration systems, diagrams, documentation, and POC templates, including AI-based delivery/enablement functionality.
  • •Provide strategic and technical guidance to Solutions Engineering teams and collaborate with the OFCTO office to deliver field insights; represent Okta via keynote presentations and technical events.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in legacy WAM and hybrid identity access tools, including CA Siteminder, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and PingAccess.
  • •Proficiency in hybrid ecosystems and identity synchronization between on-premises environments (Active Directory, LDAP) and the cloud.
  • •Strong protocol knowledge including Kerberos and header-based authentication, and bridging to modern protocols like OIDC/SAML.
  • •Hands-on experience securing and integrating complex enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and PeopleSoft, including reverse proxy and load balancer concepts.
  • •Experience with identity threat detection and response, including identity attack vectors (phishing, token theft, MFA bypass, lateral movement) and SIEM/SOAR integrations.
