Job Summary

Lead the Human Resources and Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) function for the Underground Division, shaping people strategies, talent pipelines, and a proactive “can do” culture. As part of the divisional management team reporting to the President of UMR, drive leadership and performance management, diversity & inclusion, and safety and sustainability initiatives. Manage a team of HR and SHEQ specialists, support global customer centers, and contribute to M&A integration.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with the Division President and management team to drive business strategy, change management, and a proactive mindset.
•Lead People and SHEQ functions, including people and performance management, workforce planning, diversity & inclusion, organizational change and development, and leadership and employee development.
•Develop the talent pipeline and support employee growth and development.
•Align people and planet strategies with business objectives, overseeing safety and sustainability agenda and SHEQ reporting and continuous improvements.
•Serve as a strategic leader in HR and SHEQ cross-business initiatives and manage HR and SHEQ administrative functions.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years leading Human Resources and SHEQ functions as part of a management team, delivering tangible business results.
•Proven experience leading change, cultivating culture, and engaging effectively across organizational levels.
•Strong international mindset from living/working abroad or building extensive international business relationships.
•University degree in fields related to Human Resources, Organizational Management, International Management, or similar.
•Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in other international languages is advantageous.
