Job Summary

Consult with external clients and internal associates on how to meet retirement plan objectives while maintaining qualified plan status. Review plan documents, analyze new laws and regulations for their impact, and advise on strategies to implement required changes for qualified and nonqualified retirement plans. Resolve complex operational and regulatory compliance issues, conduct plan-related analyses, and serve as a subject matter expert and internal trainer for cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain regulatory knowledge and analyze the impact of new regulations and legislation on client needs and RPS services, including drafting client-specific analysis.
•Research and resolve complex operational and regulatory compliance issues and communicate findings to clients and internal parties.
•Provide plan design and administrative enhancement suggestions during new plan implementation and deliver comparative analyses during mergers and acquisitions.
•Review plan design on an ongoing basis to ensure client objectives are met amid changing legislation and regulatory guidance.
•Serve as a lead subject matter expert on cross-functional taskforces and committees, including conducting internal training and responding to inquiries.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
•5+ years of total relevant work experience.
•Advanced understanding of retirement plan regulations and consultative skills.

•Broad knowledge of plan documentation and plan testing concepts and practices for 401k, profit sharing, 403(b), ESOP, Puerto Rico, and 457 plans.
