Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect networking components that are simple, scalable, and highly available, and design/develop firmware for Cisco Meraki switching products.
  • •Analyze requirements and problem statements to produce correct software designs, including detailed design documents and functional specifications.
  • •Code and unit test firmware components/modules with strong white-box testing and automation; triage, debug, and perform root-cause simulation and software bring-up.
  • •Collaborate with local and remote teams to review PRDs, SW functional/design specifications, and unit/integration test plans; review test strategy for functional and system test teams.
  • •Innovate to propose new ideas that may lead to filing patents and creating IP value for the company.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors (12-15 years) or Master’s degree (10-12 years) in Computer Science, EE/ECE or related fields.
  • •Proficient in writing quality code in C/C++.
  • •Experience developing software/firmware for networking products and strong software architecture/system design.
  • •Experience in concurrent programming and IPC/RPC mechanisms.
  • •Excellent knowledge of network fundamentals (L2/L3) and experience with networking traffic generators/analysers (e.g., IXIA/Sniffer) is a plus.
