Key Responsibilities

  • •Remain current with new trends and developments in the field of expertise.
  • •Provide instruction in modern facilities with smaller class sizes, supporting both in-person and e-learning student populations.

Key Requirements

  • •Doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision (preferably from a CACREP-accredited program) or a related doctoral degree, and prior full-time faculty employment in a counselor education program before July 1, 2013.
  • •Independently licensed as a professional counselor.
  • •Maintain active membership in a recognized professional counseling association (American Counseling Association preferred).
  • •Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to adapt to an e-learning environment and provide 24-hour turnaround responses to student questions.
  • •Willingness to work in an accelerated learning format and teach in an e-learning environment with daily student interaction.
