Job Summary

Lead and inspire a cross-border manufacturing engineering team to optimize producibility, design-for-manufacturability, and cost for turbomachinery components. Own manufacturing readiness, oversee IPT drawings, support NPI/industrialization reviews, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction across Canada, Europe, and partnerships, delivering zero-defect designs on time and within cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a Canada/Poland team of manufacturing experts to address producibility of current and future engine parts, focusing on manufacturing engineering points of concern.
•Create and implement methods, tools, and metrics to deliver manufacturing-ready designs with zero defects, on time and at target cost, producible by multiple suppliers.
•Oversee and approve manufacturing aspects of drawings within the IPT and collaborate on PPAP-related reviews.
•Support NPI IPT reviews and industrialization activities for turbomachinery components, including sourcing and manufacturing strategy.
•Develop producibility knowledge documentation and contribute to cost-reduction strategies across turbomachinery modules.

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree with minimum 15 years of relevant experience. Master’s in mechanical engineering is an asset.
•Ability to manage a team and demonstrate strong leadership.
•Excellent communication skills both internal and external, accountability and organized.
•Ability to create, lead and implement a vision and sense of belonging for the department across multiple sites.
•Excellent understanding of manufacturing methods and production readiness approaches (MRL, APQP and SPC).
