Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a strategic advisor to corporate and institutional clients, helping them grow digital businesses through innovative payment solutions.
  • •Collaborate with Sales and Coverage teams to support pre-sales engagements and position HSBC solutions early in the client journey.
  • •Build scalable Treasury Solutions Group capabilities using data-driven benchmarking, diagnostics, and recommendation playbooks.
  • •Lead globally consistent training and thought leadership programs on treasury, payments, and emerging technology trends for external audiences.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant industry experience in fintech, payment service provider (PSP), or e-commerce marketplaces, as an established payments expert.
  • •Deep understanding of the payments stack including card schemes (Visa/Mastercard), alternative payment methods, real-time payments (e.g., FPS, PayNow), and FX/cross-border mechanics.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory landscapes in Asia (HKMA, MAS) and how they impact MSBs and TPPPs, balancing business growth with risk and compliance.
  • •Hands-on experience applying data-driven methodologies to design, deploy, and measure end-to-end payment ecosystem performance.
  • •Strong written and spoken communication and stakeholder management skills to articulate complex information to diverse internal and external audiences.
