Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with colleagues in the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, wider design teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • •Produce detailed design layouts, engineering drawings, and support documentation to QA and client requirements.
  • •Prepare feasibility reports, technical notes, optioneering reports, and specifications.
  • •Coordinate with contractors, including site support and responding to RFI’s and TQ’s.
  • •Represent WSP in the lighting industry, fostering relationships and supporting business development.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficient in Lighting Reality or Dialux lighting design software and AutoCAD.
  • •Strong understanding of external lighting standards, guidance, legislation, and regulations.
  • •Demonstrable competency in lighting design from conception through issue for construction.
  • •Good understanding of central management systems.
  • •Experience working within the Local Government or Strategic Road Network sectors.
