Job Summary

Own and drive the unit’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) program by planning, implementing, and monitoring H&S and environmental policies and procedures. Ensure legal compliance and regulator liaisoning while leading safe operations, environmental performance, ETP/STP and waste management, audits, and behavior-based/process safety initiatives. Deliver EHS pillars within Manufacturing Excellence, advance EHS digitalization and EHS improvement CAPEX projects, and support continual improvement aligned to ISO 14001/ISO 45001, GRMS, and company EHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, implement, and monitor the unit’s H&S and environment policies and procedures to improve EHS performance.
•Lead and manage EHS for the unit, ensuring legal compliance, regulator liaisoning, and safe operations.
•Oversee environmental performance including ETP/STP operations and waste management with goals such as zero waste to landfill.
•Manage EHS and related audits (including ISO 14001/45001, IAA audits) and incident prevention with emergency readiness.
•Drive EHS digitalization and EHS improvement CAPEX projects, and build capability through continual improvement aligned to GRMS and Manufacturing Excellence EHS pillars.

Key Requirements

•BE (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical) or MSc, or Post graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized government institute (or equivalent).
•Qualification in Environment and Process Safety (preferred).
•3-5 years of relevant manufacturing operations experience.
•Knowledge of local language (advantage).
•Strong oral communication, presentation skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
