•Conduct comprehensive KYB checks on new and existing customers in line with regulatory guidelines and internal policy.
•Review merchant applications and related documentation, evaluate customer information accuracy, and perform risk assessments.
•Investigate and resolve red flags, inconsistencies, and suspicious activity identified during due diligence.
•Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to clarify discrepancies and obtain additional information.
•Maintain accurate due-diligence records, support KYB policy/process improvements, and report suspected money laundering, fraud, or suspicious activity to the Financial Crime Risk Team and relevant authorities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 31,100 - 39,350 annually

Key Requirements

•Significant end-to-end KYB and financial crime investigations experience for businesses (SMEs/Corporates) in a regulated setting.
•Strong knowledge of KYB and AML principles, including UK and international financial crime trends and acquiring typologies.
•Comprehensive understanding of the UK Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) regime and POCA legislative framework.
•Proven ability to perform high-quality open-source research and analysis to corroborate customer profiles and transactional activity.
•Hold or be working towards a relevant financial crime qualification (e.g., ACAMS, ICA Diploma).
