Key Responsibilities

•Functional ownership of the global indirect tax function, including governance, compliance oversight, process consistency, and technical issue management. Serve as the primary point of accountability for indirect tax related risk management.
•Lead U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico sales & use tax with an emphasis on process design, strategy, and risk identification. Identify complex and recurring issues (e.g., nexus, exemptions, system logic, data integrity) and design process or system-based solutions. Oversee sales & use tax return filing and determination processes, while focusing on accuracy, sustainability, and systemic improvements.
•Lead EU value-added tax (VAT) with a focus on continuous improvement in VAT processes and reporting, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across jurisdictions. Ensure appropriate VAT policies, procedures, and controls are established, documented, and implemented.
•Partner with stakeholders to define and implement indirect tax policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
•Provide leadership on indirect tax audits, including issue resolution strategy, audit support, and remediation of root causes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
•8–12 years of indirect tax experience across U.S. S&U tax and EU VAT processes.
•Experience managing large professional teams.
•Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, develop practical solutions, and implement process or policy changes.
•Proficiency with SAP, Vertex or OneSource Indirect Tax, and other tax technology.
