Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, and validation of algorithmic capabilities such as tracking, sensor/effector management, battlespace optimization, and threat forecasting.
  • •Bridge system design, requirements management, modeling and simulation (M&S), and verification & validation (V&V) to ensure system performance.
  • •Decompose requirements across cross-functional teams, define success under ambiguity, and create artifacts that trace performance as the system evolves.
  • •Develop test plans, acceptance criteria, and analysis tools to evaluate system performance using simulation and collected field data.
  • •Own systems end-to-end by identifying and resolving issues across system seams to reach the desired outcome.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of hardware and software systems engineering experience, plus a degree in Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • •Experience using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) across the program lifecycle, including tools such as JAMA, Cameo, Matlab, Simulink, and AFSIM.
  • •Proficiency with Python for data parsing, modeling & simulation, data analysis, and visualization.
  • •Skilled in statistics, AI/ML, requirements, testing, and MBSE, with demonstrated application of engineering standards to engineering processes or requirements.
  • •Ability to communicate complex technical findings and collaborate across cross-functional teams in an environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
