•Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specialized area of collections/recovery.
•Handle customer calls and provide assistance to customers in financial hardship using trained techniques and tools.
•Drive improvements to strategic and tactical collections/recovery metrics while following policy and procedure.
•Complete required file/system maintenance to reflect active specialized collections accounts.
•Assist junior staff with escalated concerns and perform peer reviews as required by management; may support special projects.

•Provide strong oral communication, counseling, and persuasion skills for customer calls.
•Maintain excellent data entry and typing accuracy.
•Apply math and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
