Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage and review process design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including site surveys and coordination with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • •Produce hydraulic assessments and calculations, existing process capacity assessments, and basis of design development.
  • •Develop process equipment design deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances, headloss calculations, and pumping system analysis.
  • •Prepare documentation including Hazardous Area Classification and Layer of Protection Analysis (LoPA), and participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP and HAZID.
  • •Support project delivery and bid/proposal preparation, verify client deliverables to relevant standards, and mentor more junior staff while using AECOM digital tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive design experience managing technical delivery of large-scale water engineering projects with multi-disciplinary knowledge.
  • •BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • •Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
  • •Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring and line management.
  • •Experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and technical mentoring with strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
