Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and improve efforts in financial crime detection, prevention, and mitigation while staying ahead of emerging threats and regulatory requirements.
  • •Work closely with Product Managers, engineers, and financial crime control owners in an agile environment to bring data ideas to life through analysis.
  • •Manage, hire, and develop Data Scientists and Data Analysts, partnering with Analytics Engineers to drive product innovation.
  • •Generate insights that can change the direction of the financial crime strategy.
  • •Bring data leadership and rigor to product development by structuring complex projects and collaborating with risk, product, and engineering managers to collect the right data.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 4 years of experience as a Data Science Manager, with at least 2 years managing a data team larger than 4 people.
  • •Strong strategic data leadership and ability to drive decisions.
  • •Strong experience managing stakeholders including executive/C-level peers across disciplines.
  • •Hands-on experience using data science tools and coding languages including Python and SQL.
  • •Experience in financial crime, fraud detection, or similar areas (Trust & Safety, Integrity, Security) is a plus.
