Job Summary

Lead the architecture of integrated Microsoft security solutions for large enterprise environments. You will shape Microsoft Defender and identity designs, assess endpoint security and identity controls, and define Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud Apps connector and policy architecture. Partner with technical stakeholders to produce designs, lead reviews and workshops, and provide architecture guidance through go-live, hypercare, and warranty.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead discovery and architecture across Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
•Assess endpoint security configurations and identity controls, including user synchronization, MFA, Conditional Access, and application connector and integration dependencies.
•Define Defender for Endpoint architecture, including EDR baselines, antivirus policies, Attack Surface Reduction rules, onboarding requirements, coexistence considerations, and Intune policy deployment.
•Design Defender for Cloud Apps connectors and policies for Microsoft 365 apps, including cloud discovery, threat detection, and Conditional Access App Control.
•Produce technical designs and guide go-live, hypercare, and warranty with design reviews, implementation walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer.

Key Requirements

•Min 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, Microsoft security consulting, or enterprise security delivery.
•Strong architecture experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
•Deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and related concepts including Active Directory integration, identity synchronization, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and Privileged Identity Management.
•Experience designing EDR baselines, antivirus policies, Attack Surface Reduction rules, endpoint onboarding, and security-policy deployment, including legacy coexistence.
•Ability to lead architecture workshops and communicate security decisions, risks, prerequisites, and implementation guidance to technical and senior stakeholders.
