Key Responsibilities

  • •Sample asphalt product to ensure it meets required tests.
  • •Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, crewmembers, and Department of Transportation inspectors to obtain samples and mix designs.
  • •Work with staff reporting to the Quality Control Manager to ensure quality control specifications are met and support daily production schedules/estimates.
  • •Ensure ethical behavior and safety standards are followed in line with company requirements and OSHA guidelines, including maintaining PPE.
  • •Read print-outs in the reader box and prepare and submit proper documentation to the appropriate Quality Control personnel.

  • •Ability to lift 50 pounds and pass a drug test and criminal background check.
