Key Responsibilities

  • •Build SAP Cloud Infrastructure capabilities for European data sovereignty, working on distributed systems challenges at scale.
  • •Develop solutions using Go, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and related technologies for auto-scaling, resilient storage, and high-traffic API design.
  • •Guide engineering teams on agile practices and delivery methodologies to enable rapid, reliable enterprise cloud service delivery.
  • •Establish frameworks that help teams tackle complex distributed systems while meeting quality and reliability expectations.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in Go or Python (or similar) with strong distributed-systems and cloud-native architecture experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices/event-driven architecture, plus infrastructure automation concepts.
  • •Strong background in identity and authentication/Trust Services in cloud environments, including OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and IAM components like OpenStack Keystone or Keycloak.
  • •8+ years of software development experience with a track record of contributing to or leading architectural decisions in complex distributed environments.
  • •Experience designing and operating resilient, highly available multi-region systems that handle massive traffic and security/compliance considerations.
