Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform SMT Materials and Processes Control Board (MPCB) activities for internal or externally procured electronic units.
  • •Update the Program Materials and Processes Control Plan periodically.
  • •Review and validate SMT or PCB qualification plans and reports for procured or TAS internal units.
  • •Review and validate Declared Materials and Processes Lists for procured or TAS internal units.
  • •Support manufacturing customers on materials and processes non-conformance/anomalies and contribute to NRB and inquiry/alert steering activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineer or PhD in Materials, Technologies, Physics and similar fields.
  • •Knowledge of ECSS normative standards, especially ECSS-Q-ST-70-60 and ECSS-Q-ST-70-61 for technologies, materials and processes.
  • •Knowledge of IPC standards.
  • •Quality Assurance or Industrial Manufacturing experience.
  • •Technologies knowledge of 3E part mounting and PCB.
