Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor payments, obligations, and expiration of surface lease and right-of-way land documents.
  • •Secure internal approvals and determine whether land documents should be renewed and at what rate of payment.
  • •Communicate intentions to renew, amend, terminate, or cancel land documents and facilitate negotiations with landowners and governmental agencies when renewal is required.
  • •Prepare and manage land documents (right of way, leases, licenses, amendments, permits, and applications) and maintain accurate land databases and files.
  • •Use GIS and Google Earth to verify assets and property locations, plot legal descriptions, and generate land database reports and audit documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •1-3 years of oil and gas land records experience, including mapping software experience (ArcGIS and Google Earth preferred).
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • •Strong attention to detail and ability to work with speed and accuracy.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate orally and in writing with internal teams and external contacts.
  • •Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload with multiple detailed procedures and deadlines.
