Key Responsibilities

•Monitor payments, obligations, and expiration of surface lease and right-of-way land documents.
•Secure internal approvals and determine whether land documents should be renewed and at what rate of payment.
•Communicate intentions to renew, amend, terminate, or cancel land documents and facilitate negotiations with landowners and governmental agencies when renewal is required.
•Prepare and manage land documents (right of way, leases, licenses, amendments, permits, and applications) and maintain accurate land databases and files.
•Use GIS and Google Earth to verify assets and property locations, plot legal descriptions, and generate land database reports and audit documentation.

Key Requirements

•1-3 years of oil and gas land records experience, including mapping software experience (ArcGIS and Google Earth preferred).
•Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work with speed and accuracy.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate orally and in writing with internal teams and external contacts.
•Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload with multiple detailed procedures and deadlines.
