Key Responsibilities

  • •Model and coach FSQA expectations for facility team members to support compliance with policies and USDA regulations.
  • •Complete product inspections and conduct product reviews for grading, packaging, and weight compliance; take appropriate actions when non-compliance is observed.
  • •Monitor team members’ work practices, address deficiencies by communicating nonconformance, and report issues to supervisors.
  • •Monitor product processing areas and practices to mitigate potential foreign material contamination.
  • •Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper working condition prior to start-up or during the process (based on shift) and record findings; collect, track, and implement numerical data.

Key Requirements

  • •Must comply with Food Safety Quality Assurance policies and USDA regulations.
  • •Willing to learn company software and have minimal computer skills to complete job assignments.
  • •Able to inspect plant-produced products, move/open products, and navigate all processing facility areas following safety procedures.
  • •Able to stand on concrete surfaces up to four continuous hours (minimum 8 hours per shift) and perform strenuous work in damp conditions across a wide temperature range.
  • •Able to understand and follow instructions and learn poultry processing methods and practices; dependable with strong integrity and work ethic.
