Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project management and delivery for all new Fixed Wing bids and proposals.
  • •Enforce governance using the Integrated Bid Acquisition Process (IBAP) and execute mandatory gate reviews.
  • •Deliver portfolio projects (IWT, IRAD, IAD, and on-contract) using Project Plan and Programme Baselines per ESGP.
  • •Own RIO management by creating and tracking actionable handling plans.
  • •Oversee cost, schedule, and resource allocation; chair governance meetings and report internal performance metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to gain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • •Proven experience leading aerospace or defence bids and proposals.
  • •Practical experience working with structured gated review processes (e.g., IBAP, ESGP or equivalents).
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams without direct line authority.
  • •Hands-on experience with Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management and associated frameworks.
