Job Summary

Operate and support day-to-day batch and continuous production activities by accurately charging raw materials per SOP/batch sheets, maintaining process operating parameters, and handling unloading/loading and blending operations. Use computer tools for data entry, calculations, and report generation; perform sampling and equipment downtime recording. Prepare equipment for maintenance with required permits and follow HS&E guidelines to ensure a safe, quality workplace.

Key Responsibilities

•Accurately charge raw materials per SOP/batch sheets and shift in-charge instructions, and maintain/control process operating parameters.
•Unload intermediates/fractions/products from equipment and perform loading of raw materials, materials, and blending operations.
•Use computer technology for data entry/retrieval, calculations, and generating reports; ensure clean/dry containers and labeling for storage and piping.
•Perform sampling, material shifting/lifting between storage and equipment, and record equipment downtime.
•Prepare equipment for maintenance (depressurize, empty, isolate, tagging), follow HS&E guidelines, and perform fire watch when required.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Chemical engineering or B. Sc (Organic Chemistry preferred).
•6–10 years of production experience.
•Basic knowledge of chemical plant unit operations and fundamentals.
•Good shop-floor execution skills with safe and quality work following shift guidelines.
•Ability to work as a team member (excellent team player).
