Job Summary

Build integrations, data flows, and ML feature pipelines that help internal product teams onboard to Etsy’s Data & ML Enablement stack. Partner with product engineering, ML, and analytics teams to scope projects, migrate legacy pipelines onto canonical datasets and paved paths, and debug cross-system issues across events, feature stores, training, and inference. Provide actionable feedback to improve APIs, tooling, documentation, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Embed with partner teams to implement Data and ML Enablement offerings and turn platform capabilities into shipped outcomes.
•Scope projects that depend on the Data and ML Enablement stack, clarifying requirements and mapping them to existing capabilities.
•Migrate ad-hoc or legacy pipelines onto canonical data sources and standardized paved paths to reduce duplication and maintenance burden.
•Debug and unblock integration issues across multiple systems, coordinating with platform owners as needed.
•Document integration patterns and provide structured feedback to Data and ML Enablement teams on API/tooling/documentation gaps.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 164,000 - 193,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong software engineering skills to write production-ready code in Java, Scala, Python, or equivalent languages.
•Experience working with batch and streaming distributed systems such as Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
•Experience with machine learning systems and infrastructure, with interest in how large-scale ML platforms are built and operated.
•A customer mindset and ability to collaborate with partner teams on their workflows and constraints.
•Curiosity about data and the e-commerce industry, and willingness to learn and pivot across systems quickly.
