Job Summary

Associate/Associate Director in the Mobility Planning team focused on business case production, economic appraisal, and multi-criteria analysis for transport projects. You will lead analytical work, coordinate multiple workstreams, and mentor junior colleagues while collaborating with clients and Government departments to deliver robust, value-for-money business cases for active travel, MaaS, rail, and highway schemes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver business case production using the 5-Case Model with robust economic appraisal and monetised impacts.
•Coordinate multiple workstreams to inform complex business cases and ensure delivery on time, to budget and programme.
•Collaborate with colleagues and clients to assemble information and communicate analytical findings clearly.
•Apply Value for Money assessments and innovative approaches (including AI where appropriate) to maintain high-quality analysis.
•Mentor and develop junior colleagues, acting as a role model within the BCA team.

Key Requirements

•Expertise in the field of business case production and familiarity with the 5-Case Business Case Model.
•Technical excellence in analysis, analytical assurance and the development of Value for Money assessments (economic appraisal of monetised impacts).
•Excellent collaboration and communication skills to share technical knowledge with colleagues, convince Government Departments of the quality of work, and articulate offerings to clients.
•Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple workstreams that inform a complex business case and ensure on-time delivery within budget and programme.
•Growth mindset with ability to identify strategies to increase headcount and revenue related to business case services.
