Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake file administration duties, including answering calls, taking relevant information, and passing details to file handlers.
  • •Make and coordinate calls to third parties, courts, and experts to check availability, book counsel, chase documents, and agree extensions.
  • •Diarise key court dates on the Case Management System to ensure nothing is missed.
  • •Complete ad hoc enquiries on behalf of the file handler and correspond with the CRU to keep certificate of recoverable benefits on file.
  • •Support file progression tasks such as completing MI, drafting write-off forms, requesting final bills, handling billing queries, and carrying out file closure/transfer activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Established interest in law through further education or experience in a process-driven legal environment.
  • •Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
  • •Good teamwork skills with flexibility to do what’s required to achieve results and meet client service levels.
  • •Good understanding of IT packages and the ability to use systems accurately.
  • •Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail when following instructions.
