Job Summary

Own the server-side Windows platform that powers Verition’s applications, delivering the same reliability, security, and performance standards as the Linux platform. Engineer and operate the Windows Server fleet across private datacenters and cloud regions, manage Active Directory and hybrid identity (Entra ID), and build automation for deployment, patching, and monitoring. Partner with Linux Platform Engineering and security teams, tune Windows for low-latency trading workloads, and provide production on-call support while mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Engineer, automate, and operate Verition’s Windows Server fleet across private datacenters and cloud regions to defined reliability, performance, and security standards.
•Own Active Directory and hybrid identity design and operations, including domain/forest architecture, Group Policy, trusts, and integrations.
•Build and maintain automation for deployment, configuration, patching, and monitoring using PowerShell and modern configuration management.
•Define and enforce Windows security baselines and hardening standards in partnership with Security Engineering.
•Provide production support via on-call rotation and drive reliability and observability improvements while mentoring team engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related technical field) or equivalent practical experience.
•5 years of experience in systems or platform engineering focused on Windows Server infrastructure.
•Advanced experience with Windows Server internals, performance tuning, and operating a fleet at scale.
•Deep hands-on experience with Active Directory and hybrid identity (Entra ID), including domain/forest design, Group Policy, and trust relationships.
•Strong experience automating deployment, configuration, patching, and monitoring with PowerShell and modern configuration management (e.g., DSC or Ansible).
