Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and optimize Elasticsearch core storage and query engine components, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks across indexing layouts, serialization formats, and resource utilization.
  • •Lead the architectural evolution of core storage engine components and drive cross-organizational initiatives to build observability solutions.
  • •Work with globally distributed engineers focused on logs and metrics capabilities, triaging and resolving issues and reviewing issues and pull requests.
  • •Drive continuous operational and system improvements by establishing best practices for clean coding standards and bringing architectural clarity across the platform.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor to the wider engineering organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building high-performance, scalable database, search, or distributed systems with strong focus on storage, indexing, and query execution.
