Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide project management and technical oversight for planning, design, and construction phase services for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • •Identify new business opportunities, coordinate and participate in client and external project presentations, and market AECOM’s capabilities.
  • •Participate in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and preparation of qualification/experience statements.
  • •Coordinate contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, and draft complex professional service agreements and addenda for senior management review.
  • •Prepare project work plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets; monitor and manage project production to meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives, including supervising technical staff and reporting financial status.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline) with 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license in Utah or ability to obtain one within the first 6 months.
  • •Direct project experience working with municipal projects, utilities and/or public-sector water/wastewater agencies.
  • •Experience and familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SWMM, and/or Sewer/WaterCAD.
  • •Proven interpersonal skills for client interaction, public speaking, and persuading; strong project financial management; ability to lead diverse teams.
