Job Summary

Design and deliver Azure-based data pipelines that ingest sources, transform data, and create modeling data layers to support downstream workflows. Own solution design and maintenance across ingestion, processing, and transformation, using Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, and Fabric. Implement data validation/cleansing, improve scalability and cost-efficiency, and monitor/resolve pipeline issues to ensure consistency and availability of data.

Key Responsibilities

•Ingest data sources and perform feature engineering to create modeling data layers and integrate data into models/workflows.
•Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation using cloud services and other technologies.
•Create and maintain data solutions in Azure using Data Factory, Synapse, and Fabric.
•Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
•Monitor and resolve data pipeline problems to ensure consistency and availability of data.

Key Requirements

•Good Python skills.
•Knowledge of data design principles (e.g., Kimball and Star Schema) and data warehousing/data modeling concepts.
•Strong experience with relational databases and ideally NoSQL databases.
•Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
•Experience with data monitoring and observability tools.
