Job Summary

Own the membership P&L across Apartment Therapy and The Kitchn, leading the existing Kitchn program and launching a new Apartment Therapy membership offering. Drive acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention using a data-driven lifecycle roadmap (onboarding through win-back). Analyze churn drivers and partner with editorial, product, marketing, and analytics to deliver a seamless member experience while building and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the membership P&L across both brands, including goals, forecasting, and performance tracking.
•Lead the Kitchn membership program across acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention.
•Define and launch a new Apartment Therapy membership offering in partnership with editorial and product.
•Build and execute a data-driven lifecycle roadmap covering onboarding, conversion, renewal, win-back, and reactivation.
•Analyze member behavior and churn drivers, and partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless member experience while growing the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6–8+ years of experience in membership, subscription, or audience-revenue roles, including running a membership or subscription program.
•Background in media, publishing, or content.
•Strong analytical skills with familiarity in subscription metrics and member lifecycle data.
•Proven ability to lead cross-functional work and align partners without direct authority.
•Ability to work from NYC headquarters on a hybrid schedule, at least 2x per week.
