Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out cash, and process negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments.
  • •Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services while following bank policies, account protection limits, and completing required BSA/AML training.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, with 0 to 6 months related experience or training (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group settings.
  • •Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; must be able to handle money and measurement.
  • •Critical thinking to follow simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
