Key Responsibilities

  • •Weigh and prepare feed amounts, monitor water consumption, and weigh birds according to schedules.
  • •Clean and maintain the egg room, including waterers and walls, sweeping/scraping floors as needed, and routine housekeeping.
  • •Record required production and care information (egg numbers/line/source, bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality) per instructions.
  • •Inspect poultry for disease, euthanize selected weak/ill birds per approved policy, and remove dead poultry from the flock.
