Key Responsibilities

  • •Write software that scales for tens of thousands of tasks that build, test, and release Firefox daily.
  • •Collaborate with senior+ engineers to improve the Firefox developers’ experience and implement those improvements.
  • •Configure, optimize, and maintain the build and deployment pipeline for reliable delivery.
  • •Request and provide code reviews with a geographically distributed team across time zones.
  • •Respond to critical service outages during normal working hours (no on-call rotation required).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related) or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience working in an object-oriented programming (OOP) language (preferably Python).

  • •Some experience using cloud resources (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • •Comfort developing on Windows, macOS, and Linux with experience in shell scripting.
